Revise, Rewrite

If you haven't seen it, here is an article about 12 authors and how they revise. I know everyone writes and revises differently, but if you're stuck maybe it will push you out of your rut. Or, it can just be an interesting look at the creative process.

Do any of the authors revise in a similar way to you?

  1. I haven't seen the article. I LOVE to revise, so no problems for me there.

    1. For me it varies book to book. Sometimes it's the drafting that I love, sometimes the rewrites.

  2. Hi Sara, I enjoy revising. The problem I have is finding the balance between making the story better and taking the changes too far. But since I'm about to dive back into my current WIP for another round, I appreciate the article you've shared. Clicking over to check it out now. Thanks!

  3. Ooh, fun. I could never get up and read things in public like Neil Gaiman does. I can't even stand hearing someone else read my stuff out loud. My editing process looks a lot like Patrick Rothfuss' -- once I've managed to solve the really deep story/theme/arc problems, that is...

  4. Sitting down all day can cause the area becoming too wound up. You can avoid this problem by stretching your hamstrings.satta king

  6. Many people love coffee, and there are so many options out there. You can drink your coffee cold, hot, in cappucino form, and there are a variety of different ingredients that you can add. How does one select what coffee they would like to start with? Keep reading to find out more information.
