Colorado spring

We were having a nice spring, enjoying the warm, balmy days, getting outside. Now the other side of a Colorado spring has sprung.

Yesterday was 60 degrees.

Now it looks like this

Last I heard we were supposed to get around 3 inches.

We have at least 12 with more coming down. It's spring break so the kids were already out of school. We're just hunkering down, enjoying a TV day, with a pot of chili on the stove and fry bread rising.

I hope that wherever you are, and whatever the weather, you're safe and content.

Happy spring.

  1. I remember Colorado being like that when my sister lived there too. But in the next day or two the weather warms up and the snow disappears. Hope yours melts soon too.

    1. Well, it's slated to snow three more times in the next week, so we'll see.

  2. Oh, I'm not sure I'd be happy about that at all. Mind you, I'd love to be there for your chili and fresh bread. :-)

  3. Yikes! And I was just worried about the 34 degrees and frost we had in Georgia. I just knew it was going to kill the cherry tree's blooms. Close, but we survived.

  4. I cannot imagine that much snow. What do you do with it? Do you just have to stay inside until enough of it melts to actually move?

    Stay warm!

  5. At our home in Canada, central BC, it's raining. No snow. Isn't that bizarre!

  6. The weather where I am in California is giving me premature spring allergies. So I'm looking forward to the rain that's supposed to come next week.

  7. Ooh, snow. I haven't seen snow in ages. I was upset because it was 5 degrees Celsius this morning, down from 15 over the weekend :-)
