Rest Stop

Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments on the last post.

So, how was your first day of whatever version of NaNo you were doing?  I know people are going to be scarce on blogging this month but if you need to relax and let your mind veg I hope you drop in and tell me how it's going so far!

  1. I guess it will be a little quiet on the blogs for November, especially since blog posts don't count in the 50 K. Right?

    1. Lol, you could probably put them in and no one would know, but technically not. November is always a little quiet.

    1. It's not for everyone. I did it once and don't feel the need to repeat it.

    1. There is so much energy surrounding it it's easy to get caught up in it.

  5. I hope I can keep on as I've started! But, really, I've got to do more editing on all the stories I've got going. Must get to work!

  6. I'm not doing NaNo, but I have promised myself to make a strong attempt at finishing my current WIP. So far I've gone from 40,121 words to 41,358. And growing. Best to you, Sara.

    1. Keep up the good work! I'm using the energy surrounding NaNo to try and give myself a boost. I'll take whatever I can get as long as I'm focused.

  8. Not doing NaNo, I'm too chicken, but maybe I'll do it next year. If it gets too quiet this month, then maybe we can keep each other company, lol.

    1. NaNo was fun. I did it once. Won. Now I don't need to do it again. You should try at least once.

  9. I'm going to try hard to get my 50K this year for NaNo. I did it last year and I finished a book for it. That's I'm participating again this year.

    1. I did it a couple years ago. Had a great time, and won, but don't feel the need to try again.

  11. LOL to the "Whatever version of NaNo" <---It's so true!

And I respect NaNo a great deal, though I don't know if I'll ever do it again. I prefer to go with my own groove---but it is fun! :-)

    1. That's why I made sure to win the one time I did it. I didn't want to have to try again.

  12. No NaNo for me this year, but I do enjoy seeing how everyone else is doing. I'm doing my own NaNoReaMo and reading as much as I can til my next story. :)
