If, like me, your completely bummed by not getting into the GUTGAA judging round here's a little something to cheer you up. Even if your not bummed you should enjoy it.
Yea, Guess I wasn't one of the first 200 people to email her. I'm sure her email was packed with entries. I could still try the small press pitch but I'm still querying agents and am not sure I'm ready for that rout yet. I'll have to think about it.
Haha! I think Professor Snape's "I ain't even mad" was my favorite. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSnape is always a favorite. Personally I like the toddler in the pink coat.
DeleteDon't let it keep you down, Sara. I like the "I ain't even mad" part too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's all good. The agent pitch would have been nice but I didn't hang my ego or my hope of publication on it.
DeleteThat post is all sorts of classic! :)
ReplyDeleteI was laughing out loud. Poor hubby thought I was crazy.
DeleteBummer, Sara. But I hadn't seen that post of Nathan's so thanks for sharing the link!
ReplyDeleteHope you liked it!
DeleteShoot! :/ You're amazing, Sara. I've NEVER had luck with those blasted online things ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE that post... such a classic!
Thanks Morgan, It is a great post.
DeleteThanks for sharing that. My fave pic is the one of the kid having a meltdown. I'd so love to be able to do that some time.
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favorites too.
DeleteThanks for the laugh! That was great. I'm with JL Campbell on the meltdown.
ReplyDeleteSomeone else emailed this to me a while ago and I wrote back, 'Why do we even do this?' And she said, 'Because it's what we do.'
ReplyDelete:)
Exactly. And come one, how boring would a post like that be about regular life?
DeleteEntertaining.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun gif. Thanks for sharing, it put a smile on my face. (:
ReplyDeleteHooray for smiles. :)
DeleteI've seen it several times, but I still love it.
ReplyDeleteI still enjoy it too, every now and again I have to go watch it.
Deletehehe I'd seen that before and it's sooo funny!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the judging.
I think I would feel better if I'd made it to the judging, even if I'd gotten creamed. To be excluded randomly is frustrating.
DeleteI saw this clip :) It was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteYes, whoever put it together had great insight.
DeleteI didn't even know about GUTGUAA. But I googled and found it.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you didn't make it.
Apparently there are still ways to win: http://www.deanabarnhart.blogspot.ca/2012/09/gutgaa-agent-pitch-contest-round-1-has.html

DeleteI enjoyed it...it's very true!
ReplyDeleteI awarded you the Daisy Award! :)
I've seen that. Funny!
ReplyDeleteJust makes it that much sweeter when your time comes. :)
Love it! I tried making a .gif the other day, but it didn't work; I can't seem to get the speed of the images right.
