I never know what to call these posts.

No I really don't.  If I say "Announcement" everyone will expect big news like an agent or publishing contract. Anyway, this is just a heads up to everyone that Deana Barnhart is having a Get An Agent Blogfest and Pitch contest. Go here for details.   And Writer Unboxed has a great post about why obstacles are a writers best friend.

    Thanks for the great links, Sara. Overcoming obstacles certainly creates tenacity and inspiration for the writer. (I just don't enjoy it! ^_^)

      Well, generally we don't enjoy those things that make us stronger do we? It's frustrating but what are we going to do? Whine and complain? OK I do that a lot but then I move on to the second option. Learning from it.
