Celebrate Good Times

Celebrate!

I passed 100 followers!  I’m so grateful for all the visitors that leave their thoughts and participate in this blog.  I’m excited that some of you keep coming back!  To say thank you for all you wonderful people I’m having a GIVEAWAY

The prize is the book BIRD BY BIRD by Anne Lamott.  Now I will say I’ve never read this book but I’ve heard great things about it and it is number two on this list of great books on writing.

Anyone is eligible.  To enter all you have to do is leave a comment.  If you want to spread the word that would be great but it’s not required.

I’m a fairly low key person.  Usually when I celebrate something I cook something for dinner that needs a little more preparation than I’m usually willing to do, or we buy ice cream and Oreos.  Low key, but so much fun.  How do you like to celebrate small accomplishments in life?

  2. Congrats on 100, Sara! Don't put me in the contest since I already have a copy of BIRD BY BIRD.

Celebration with ice cream and oreos or a meal out sound about right to me.

  3. A milestone, for sure! YAY!

A handful of dark chocolate M&Ms usually does it for me.

  4. Congratulations and may there be many, many more! (: We tend to be pretty low key as well. A movie and a chocolate bar is pretty much how I celebrate the little things. (:

That sounds great. And you have access to some pretty good chocolate over there!

  5. Congrats! Thanks for the giveaway. I've not heard of this book but I'll give any on writing a go.

We normally go out for a meal as a family if there's something to celebrate.

Family should definitely be involved in celebration. And I love the fact you included a smile! You seem like a very happy person.

I can't wait for my three year old to see fireworks this summer. He's at that age where he'll be so excited about them.

  17. Congratulations on your one-hundredth follower, Sara! When I want to celebrate I tend to make a dinner that takes longer than fifteen minutes to prepare. (Sounds like we're on a similar wave length.) If not that, there's always buying a new book!
